Congresswoman Cheney is invited to give the keynote address to the Democracy Summit at Dartmouth College, a collaboration between the Dartmouth Political Union, the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy, and the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding throughout 2023 focusing on the endurance of democracy domestically and internationally. Rep. Cheney is invited to detail her efforts to uphold American Democracy through her work on the January 6th Committee as well as to share her analysis and foresight on how we as a country can progress while delicately balancing free speech and the need to safeguard democracy.

The event is being sponsored by The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding, the Ethics Institute, and the Dartmouth Political Union (DPU).
