Roger S. Aaron '64, T '65 Distinguished Lecture on Ethics in Law and Business

Roger S. Aaron '64, T '65, a longtime partner at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, helped orchestrate some of the biggest mergers of the past several decades, notably the unions of Exxon and Mobil and Alcatel and Lucent. Throughout his career as a top adviser to the country's biggest corporations, including General Motors and Time Warner, Mr. Aaron cemented a reputation as a trusted adviser to blue-chip companies. Along the way, he built one of the industry's top merger practices.

The Future of Work and the Four Day Week Movement

Juliet Schor is an economist and sociologist at Boston College. She is an expert on consumer society, working hours, environmental sustainability, the sharing economy, and alternative economies and societies. Her many books include The Overworked American (1992), The Overspent American (1998), Plenitude: The New Economics of True Wealth (2010), and After the Gig (2020). Her most recent book is titled Four Days a Week: The Life-Changing Solution for Reducing Employee Stress, Improving Well-Being, and Working Smarter (2025).
