Ignacio Gutierrez

Ignacio "Nacho" Gutierrez is double majoring in Government Modified with Economics and Philosophy and Latin American Studies. Being from a US-Mexico border town, Ignacio has had a unique front-row seat to immigration, asylum-seeking policy, agriculture labor unions, and Hispanic social movements. His interdisciplinary education is oriented toward advocacy for strong democratic institutions in Mexico and social impact for Latino communities in the United States. Ignacio graduated with highest academic distinction from Arizona Western College in 2021 with his Associate's Degree in Arts. On campus you can find him performing improv with the Dog Day Players or A Capella with the Dartmouth Cords.
