Join Dartmouth Libraries during Black History Month to hear from Shatona' Allen, Assistant Professor of Sociology and African & African American Studies and co-author of the recently published Black Lives Matter: A Reference Handbook. This volume, published in 2025, offers a comprehensive analysis of the first ten years of the Black Lives Matter movement and provides readers insight into the organization's priorities, as well as the criticisms and controversies that arose around it.

Talk followed by Q&A. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is highly recommended.
